More Details on Our Top Picks
KEENSUN Stainless Steel Foldable Cigar Holder, Black, Portable and Reusable
This stand stands out for its foldable, pocket-friendly design, making it a go-to for cigar enthusiasts who frequently enjoy cigars outdoors or at gatherings. The stainless steel construction offers durability and resistance to corrosion, ensuring it can withstand travel conditions. Compared to bulkier options, KEENSUN’s compact size means it can’t hold larger cigars comfortably and lacks extra features like cleaning accessories. It’s a straightforward, reliable holder for those who prioritize portability and simplicity, but it’s not ideal for users seeking a multi-cigar stand or aesthetic enhancements.
Pros:- Compact and portable, easily fits in a pocket
- Made from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- Suitable for cigars of any size and quick to assemble or fold
Cons:- Limited to holding a single cigar, no extra features
- May be too small for larger cigars
- No cleaning or maintenance accessories included
Best for: Travelers and casual cigar enthusiasts who need a lightweight, portable holder.
Not ideal for: Those requiring a stand for multiple cigars or larger sizes, or seeking additional features.
- Dimensions:1.96×1.49×0.11 inches
- Weight:1.37 ounces
- Material:Stainless steel
Our verdict“A superb choice for cigar lovers seeking a lightweight, durable holder for travel and casual use.”
Fortune Nexus® Cigar Stand, Portable and Compact Cigar Rest (Black)
This pick makes the most sense for users who value a sleek, stylish appearance combined with stability. Its zinc alloy construction offers strength, and the anti-slip bottom prevents accidents, making it reliable on various surfaces. It’s limited to holding only one cigar at a time and is compatible with cigars up to ring gauge 60, which could be restrictive for larger cigars. Compared with the KEENSUN holder, it sacrifices some portability for a more elegant look and better stability during use. It’s ideal for those who want a refined accessory for single cigars but aren’t concerned about holding multiple cigars or larger sizes.
Pros:- Compact, easy to carry, and stylish matte black finish
- Sturdy zinc alloy construction for durability
- Anti-slip mat enhances stability and protects surfaces
Cons:- Limited to one cigar at a time
- Size restrictions restrict larger cigars
- Less portable compared to smaller, foldable options
Best for: Cigar enthusiasts who want a stable, stylish stand for single cigars on the go or at home.
Not ideal for: Those needing to hold multiple cigars or larger sizes beyond ring gauge 60.
- Material:Zinc alloy
- Color:Black
- Height:1.5 inches
- Width:1.1 inches
- Ring Gauge Compatibility:Up to 60
Our verdict“A sleek, stable stand suitable for those who prefer a single, well-supported cigar in portable form.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Cigarashtray Stands
Selecting the right cigarashtray stand depends on your specific needs—whether portability, stability, size, or style. Understanding how each feature impacts your experience helps narrow down the options. Here, I focus on key factors like material durability, size compatibility, portability, and stability to guide your choice.
Portability and Size
If you frequently enjoy cigars outdoors or at gatherings, a compact, foldable stand like the KEENSUN is ideal due to its pocket-sized design. Conversely, if you prefer a stylish accessory for occasional use, the Fortune Nexus offers a sturdy, elegant option that stays stable on surfaces but isn’t as portable for travel.
Material and Durability
Stainless steel stands like KEENSUN excel in durability and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for rougher environments or frequent movement. Zinc alloy options, such as Fortune Nexus, provide a refined look and solid stability but may be slightly heavier and less resistant to scratches over time.
Size Compatibility
Size matters: KEENSUN can hold cigars of any size but is limited in capacity, while Fortune Nexus is designed specifically for cigars up to ring gauge 60. If you often enjoy larger cigars, you’ll need to consider whether the stand can accommodate them without compromising stability or aesthetics.
Stability and Use Case
For outdoor use or uneven surfaces, stability becomes critical. The anti-slip bottom of the Fortune Nexus makes it a safer choice for surfaces where slipping might occur, whereas KEENSUN’s portability means less stability but greater convenience for travel.
Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are best for cigarashtray stands?
Materials like stainless steel and zinc alloy are common in cigarashtray stands. Stainless steel offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for frequent outdoor use. Zinc alloy provides a more elegant finish and good stability but may be less resistant to scratches and corrosion over time.
Can these stands hold larger cigars?
The Fortune Nexus is rated for cigars up to ring gauge 60, which covers most standard cigars but may be too small for larger sizes. The KEENSUN holder is more versatile in size but is limited to holding a single cigar, regardless of size. Always check the size compatibility before purchasing if you prefer larger cigars.
Are these stands suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, both stands can be used outdoors, but their stability varies. KEENSUN’s foldable holder is lightweight and portable, making it convenient for travel, though it may be less stable on uneven surfaces. The Fortune Nexus’s anti-slip bottom offers better stability on surfaces like tables or decks, ideal for outdoor gatherings.
Which stand is better for frequent travel?
The KEENSUN stainless steel holder is clearly better suited for frequent travel due to its compact, foldable design. The Fortune Nexus, while portable, is bulkier and better suited for stationary use or occasional portability within a bag rather than pocket carry.
Do I need a stand that holds multiple cigars?
If you frequently enjoy multiple cigars at once, these options might not be sufficient, as both are designed for single cigars only. For multiple cigars, you might need a larger, more stable stand or a dedicated cigar tray with multiple slots.
Conclusion
If you mainly enjoy cigars outdoors or on the go, the KEENSUN Stainless Steel Foldable Cigar Holder offers unmatched portability and durability. For those who prefer a more elegant, stable solution for single cigars at home or in a lounge, the Fortune Nexus® Cigar Stand provides style and stability, with some compromise on portability. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize travel convenience or surface stability and style.
